What are some benefits of theatre and performance training? Students who participate in theatre arts build soft skills which are extremely important and marketable in every profession. Some examples of soft skills that we aim to strengthen are focus, working with an ensemble, control (physical, mental, emotional, social), multi-tasking, time management, problem solving, delayed gratification, constructive disagreement, critical thinking, emotional intelligence, group conflict resolution, kinesthetic awareness, mindful attention, strong leadership, engaged follower-ship, and listening deeply in a collaborative setting.
